Solo Show: ICONOLATRÍA

May 16, 2024; The opening event for my first solo show, hosted at Galería Guatíbiri in Río Piedras, Puerto Rico from the 16th to the 29th of May.

“Frames of subconscious iconolatry of women as symbols, not beings.”

“ICONOLATRÍA talks about and converses with these symbol-women as objects of adoration. They are incarnations of ideals; beauty ideals, economic ideals, political ideals. In short, the image of the woman, as promoter o prize, is present 24/7 in the lives of all of us. It is our collective obsession.”
